iGuzzini Cespuglio
Designed in 1969, Cespuglio returns in a new edition that preserves its radical identity. Material experimentation, formal research, dynamism, and the dialogue between function and identity are the pillars of Ennio Lucini’s design poetics. Lucini was a designer active in product design, graphics, advertising, and corporate image consulting. The Cespuglio lamp was born from a conceptual inspiration drawn from Giacomo Balla's work and is dedicated to the artist Gino Marotta. Originally, in fact, it should have been called Cespuglio di Gino (Gino's Bush). Cespuglio's leaves, originally made of methacrylate—a material that at the time represented the symbol of modern and future-oriented design—are now produced from recycled and fully recyclable plastic material. The base and petal support are made of aluminium and steel respectively.
