Alma Tominga

This 20,000 m² green building carries the name Alma Tominga — Estonia’s first female professor and a pharmacist — and is architecturally alluring in its dynamism: spacious and full of intriguing spatial solutions that bow deeply to engineering achievement while creating an organically light-filled environment

The distinctive contours of the façade are lit by over a thousand metres of Inventronics LINEARlight FLEX Diffuse Side LFD400S luminaires. Indoors, four kilometres of Inventronics FLEX Shortpitch TF1000S LED strip help create a pleasant atmosphere.

The Traxon e:cue SYMPHOLIGHT lighting control system, installed and commissioned by Halored, is responsible for the interplay of hundreds of sensors and thousands of luminaires running on the DALI-2 protocol. The system continuously adjusts the luminous flux of the luminaires imperceptibly as different parameters change — movement and presence, daylight, time of day, season and so on.
