Stilnovo Periscopio table luminaire

The Periscopio table lamp, designed in 1967 during the golden age of the “space age,” stands as one of the most authentic expressions of that era’s creative fervor, suspended between innovation and vision. Inspired by the fascination with space exploration, Periscopio embodies a formal rigor and essentiality that transcend time and trends. An emblematic object of our tradition, it masterfully combines function and industrial poetry, preserving its ability to converse with the most refined interiors and with those who appreciate the true value of design research.

Features

  • The flexible joint, covered in rubber that recalls the connectors of astronauts' suits, allows Periscopio to be adjusted into any position. This innovative solution provides versatility and a direct nod to the space age.
  • The lamp features a special LED light source, half-covered with a silvered surface. This design prevents direct glare, ensuring comfortable and focused lighting.
  • Periscopio can be used not only as a table lamp but also as a clamp lamp. By removing the metal base, the lamp becomes a perfect solution for small spaces and work environments.
  • This combination of historical design, technology, and functionality makes Periscopio an icon of 1960s industrial design.
