Ateljé Lyktan Mela

In conjunction with the renovation of the National Museum in Stockholm, a number of designers were given the opportunity to create a new inspiring public space, with an interior based solely on new design. A total of 80 new objects were created, including Mela, designed by Matti Klenell, which is now being put into production. Mela is a family of luminaires consisting of a pendant luminaire in three sizes. Mela's task is to provide the room with general light and more informal functional lighting.

Features

Retrofit technology: The idea with Mela is that the luminaire should be easily placed and is therefore equipped with retrofit technology with a GU10 socket on the smallest model and E27 socket on the two larger models.
