Urban lighting and lanterns for historic centres and new city spaces alike

Neri began in 1962 in Italy, when the artist and sculptor Domenico Neri started designing luminaires and street furniture for cities. Today Neri makes street luminaires, lanterns, lighting columns and brackets at its factory in Longiano, used in historic city centres and new districts around the world. Neri also restores old cast-iron lanterns and carries out more than 300 custom projects a year.

The range covers two worlds. The classic lanterns of the Heritage series (Light 500, 600, 700, 803 and others) suit old towns and historic settings – now with LED light. The street and park luminaires of the Contemporary series, such as Milos, Lang, Polis and Nebula, are made for today's urban spaces; the Nebula system was created with the architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and Lang and Brenta won the German Design Award in 2018. For existing lanterns Neri offers LED retrofits that also reduce light pollution.
